Shipping policy

Shipping Information for Online Orders
What are my shipping options when I order from your website?

  • USPS Priority Mail

We want to your have your order as soon as possible!  As such, some of our vendors may ship via UPS or FedEx. If these are undeliverable to you, please make us aware in the “Order Notes” at checkout or via email to info@lotusblooms.com as soon as you place your order.


Shipping and Handling
Please allow 1 day for order processing on orders ordered during the week, or up to 3 days for processing for orders placed on weekends (Friday evening through Sunday.) Please expect anywhere from 3-5 business days for shipping.  You will receive your order within approximately 7 to 10 business days. Shipping costs are not refundable.


Weekend Orders
Orders ordered over the weekend- Friday after business hours through Sunday- will ship out the next business day.
 

Where do our items ship from?
When you order (most) vibrating toys, books, or lube from us they will ship from the shop in Alexandria, VA.  Every so often we will ship directly from our vendors. This means we will receive your order, place it with our vendor and they will ship it out within 1 business day.  Our vendors are located on the West Coast and in the MidWest.  

When you order items from the Kink category (impact toys, restraints, etc), apparel (corsets, lingerie accessories), they will be shipping directly from us out of our Northern Virginia store.


What does the packaging look like?
Your confidentiality is a top priority for us; we believe your pleasure is your own business- not everyone else's! 

Items are shipped in one of the following packaging:

  • USPS Priority Boxes
  • plain brown boxes
  • unmarked white bubble mailers

The shipping label will show a return address that says “Shipping Department” "BGLLC" or "Lotus Blooms" on the shipping label. Most people just think we are a flower shop at first glance of the name.

Multiple Shipments
Where a single order results in multiple shipments, the shipping and handling charge only applies to the first package shipped. There are no additional shipping and handling charges for subsequent shipments for the same order.  We will do our best to warn you of this so that you know what to expect.


Damaged items /Shortages
All merchandise leaves our and our vendors’ warehouse in perfect condition. Please contact us immediately upon receipt of a damaged or missing item and include images of the damage.

Email Communications & Tracking your Package
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation.  This will include the date of purchase, your shipping and billing address, the items you order, and a summary of your purchase details (totals, taxes, etc).

As soon as we have tracking information (or receive it from our vendors), we will send you another email with the postal service used and tracking number.


Orders Undeliverable
Should your order be returned to us undeliverable, unclaimed or refused without prior approval you have two options:

  • We can re-ship the order to you for an additional charge for the shipping and handling
  • You can cancel your order and we will credit your credit card minus the shipping and handling charges

What if my package doesn't arrive when it's supposed to?
Sometimes a package is not delivered because of weather or acts of nature. We cannot refund shipping for these reasons. Additionally, if we are given an inaccurate address or there is an address correction, delivery may be delayed.

If your order appears late, remember:

  • Please allow 1-3 days for order processing
  • Credit card approval must be received prior to processing
  • Saturday is not a normal delivery day

What about curbside pickup- how long will you hold my order? 
If you place an order online for curbside pickup, we will have it available within 2 hours of the store opening. We can hold your purchase for up to 3 months. If you have not reached out to us by then, we will refund your order minus a 20% restocking fee.
