What's it Like to Take a Workshop at a Sex Store?
Wondering what to expect from a workshop about sex at Lotus Blooms? Educator and manager Teal Dye gives the lay of the land and explains what does or doesn't happen at our weekly classes, so you'll know exactly what you're signing up for!
Workshop's FAQ
Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexual orientations, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store.
Workshops generally run about 60 minutes. Afterwards, the store is just a short walk away and will be open for individual questions and discounted shopping. Workshop attendees will be given 15% off all purchases made that evening. We will be hosting on a variety of days- Mostly Sundays & Mondays- depending on when the space is available.
All workshops take place at at the Event Space at Ms. Moxies Moon Shop (102 N Fayette St, Alexandria, VA 22314) unless the description says otherwise.
Oh no! We have a limited number of seats available for each workshop in order to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. Please be mindful that others may be interested in attending sold out workshops. If you must cancel, please notify Lotus Blooms at least 48 hours prior to the workshop and you will receive a store credit, less a $10 cancellation fee per ticket.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are not eligible to receive the credit, UNLESS you are able to resell your tickets. A full refund will be issued only in the event that Lotus Blooms cancels the workshop.
To cancel your ticket more than 48 hours in advance for the gift card (minus the transaction fee), contact us and we will account for the date the cancellation was sent.
