The Stinger Cattle Prod Electroplay Wand

$ 49.95

Pairs well with

Thousands of tiny lightning bolts, a loud CRACK, and a visible spark — with no mark left behind.

The Stinger is a beginner's way into electroplay. Press the button to charge the current, touch the two prongs to skin, and it discharges in a snap of light and sound. Press it more times and the intensity climbs.

The sensation lands somewhere between a static shock and a sharp flick, depending on where you use it and how far you push it. At the low end it's so faint it's barely a tingle. No pain is required to play with intensity — often the adrenaline of not knowing when the spark is coming does more than the spark itself.

At 15 inches it keeps a little distance between you and your partner, which is half the appeal of a prod. It's the obvious starting point for anyone curious about electro play who isn't ready to spend several hundred dollars on a full violet wand kit.

Never submerge this toy. It's an electronic device — water in the housing ends it. Wipe the shaft and prongs with a cloth dampened with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry completely before storing.

Keep the prongs clean and free of residue; anything built up on them will change how the current discharges.

Take the AAs out if you're storing it for more than a few weeks. Leaking cells are the most common way a toy like this dies, and it's an entirely avoidable death. Store somewhere dry, away from direct heat.

Starting out

Begin at a single press, on a fleshy spot like the outer thigh, so you both learn what the low end feels like before you go looking for the high end. Agree on a safeword first — the crack is loud and startling even when the sensation is mild.

The anticipation is the real tool here. Holding the wand just off the skin, letting them hear the charge, waiting a beat longer than they expect — that does more than turning the intensity up ever will.

Before you play

Electro play is safe when you keep the current where it belongs. These rules apply to every electro toy, this one included.

  • Stay below the waist. Never let current cross the chest, and never place contact points on opposite sides of the torso.
  • Remove metal from the play area — piercings and jewellery concentrate current.
  • Not on broken or irritated skin, and never near the eyes.
  • Stop if anything feels wrong. Numbness, cramping, or a change in heart rate means done for the night.

Do not use this device if you

  • Have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or any other implanted electronic device
  • Have a heart condition or an irregular heartbeat
  • Are pregnant
  • Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder
