Why water-based? Toys that are made of silicone, like many of the Aneros line, should be paired with a water-based lube to persevere the silicone (aka silicone lube can break down the outer layer of a silicone toy, making it porous and therefore able to store bacteria). 

Why thick? The booty is not self-lubricating and needs a cushion-ey lube that is longer-lasting to protect thin tissue!
