Click into each event to read details about the workshop and to be directed to Eventbrite to purchase a ticket.  Please note that due to the nature of our workshop topics, our workshops will not show up on the Eventbrite search. You must access the event information via a direct link.  Event seats typically fill up quickly & we have less seats available for workshops than before, so don’t delay!  Workshop tickets are sold individually, so be sure to purchase one ticket for every person who plans to attend.

  All workshops take place at our Old Town Alexandria store at 1017 King Street, unless the description says otherwise.

Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexual orientations, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store. Workshops generally run about 90 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle. Afterwards, the store is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour. Previously we had held workshops on Sunday evenings. For now, we will be hosting on Thursdays starting at 8pm immediately after the store closes to the public. 

COVID Policies:

• All attendees and educators must be fully vaccinated. Attendees will be asked to provide proof of vaccination at the door.
• Educators will take a rapid test before teaching without a mask. If the educator tests positive, we’ll send out the email by 12:00pm noon to cancel. The event will be rescheduled
• All attendees must remain masked
• Each workshop will indicate whether or not the educator plans to teach masked or unmasked.
• If you test positive before the event, please contact us immediately at info@lotusblooms.com so that we can arrange for your tickets to be opened up to a person on the waitlist. In the event that they are sold, we can provide you with a credit for a future workshop. If not, your tickets will be forfeited. Alternatively, we are happy to transfer tickets to a friend free of charge.

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel, please notify Lotus Blooms at least 48 hours prior to the workshop and you will receive a store credit, less a $10 cancellation fee per ticket.  Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible to receive the store credit.  A full refund will be issued only in the event that Lotus Blooms cancels the workshop.
